A stupid grin spreads across her face as she watches him flex and stretch. Okay, so a part of her was squealing like a little girl as she watched Mikey force the doors apart. She didn’t have to admit it out loud though. It obviously took a great deal of effort, and she rewarded him with a bouncing cheer when he got the doors all the way open, “Alright, Mikey! Way t’go, babe!”

She follows his look up to the safety lens and immediately picks up on his plan. “Oh! Good idea!” She pats her pockets, and then digs into them. A great big grin makes it obvious that she’s found something. “I don’t have any gum… But I have this kneaded eraser.” She pulls out a small grey wad of rubbery putty. She squishes it between her fingers a few times and she hands it to him – its not sticky sweet like chewed gum, but it’s thick and tacky like clay.

He grinned like an idiot when she called him 'babe' as if he was her boyfriend or something. 'Oh. You. Wish!' he chided himself. His mind was already getting ideas, and he and Tobi had hardly even spent more than a day together.

Unlike Dharma and Greag, (A show Sensei loved watching, because he liked how Dharma oh-so-inncocently drove Greag's mother batty) it's not like they're going to get married on the first day, so why was his heart racing every time he hears her sweet, giggling voice?

When she produces the- playdough of sorts and calls it an eraser, he blinks at it for a moment. He'd used lots of putty erasers, but this looked kinda- different. He coudln't pinpoint why, it just did. He wasn't sure those things were sticky, either, but maybe the putty from her world is not like the stuff from his?

Nevertheless he accepted it with a 'thanks' and a grin, squished it a bit more to make it nice and molded, before carefully stepping closer to the apperantly endless drop-down hole. On his toes, careful not to slip on the edge, he reached up and carefully applied the frairly sticky stuff on the lense. Slowly he drew back his hands and watched it, waiting for it to peel off or something.

When it did not, he grinned triumphly at Tobi and gave her a thumbs up. "Good thinking!" He then turned to the opening and looked around. There was a narrow ladder on the opposite side of the elevator hatch, on the back of where the elevator should be, but it was really rusty and didn't look very reliable.

Then again, it was probably much worse off than other things around here. Those hinges looked in bad shape, and he knew they probably wouldn't handle too much weight. Tobi might be able to use the ladder, but maybe not for long before the thing snaps, and he was much heavier, so it will not be able to handle his weight.

"I guess this is out of the question, the ladder is in pretty bad shape." he turned back to her, "The best we could do right now is get a rope and climb down to the lower levels, cause the upper levels are out of the question." He paused, furrowed his brows and then reached into his pouch pocket.

Inside was his bedroom key, titled E-014, and the elevator had the floor labeled from A to J... E was the fifth letter, so that meant they were on the fifth floor, smackdub in the middle of the building!

He looked at Tobi again, "Just a question, but what was your room's number?" he showed her his key, "Did it have a tag like this?"
